When the employees are unhappy with the manager this could influence the way they treat the customers. Without a solid customer base, your business will flounder. There are many skills a good manager should possess. Good communication, able to motivate, and have a good attitude are just a few. A good manager will reflect positively on the business. If a manager had a poor attitude that will negatively impact the business.

Business' that provide good customer service will be able to attract and retain more customers. Every good businessman knows that it is cheaper to keep a current customer happy than find a new one. Good customer service will attract more business through word of mouth referrals.

When you have a manager with a good attitude your employees will have a good attitude which will lead to them providing better customer service. There are resources available if a manager needs to improve their skills as a leader. Have a bad attitude may be something that isn't easily changed.
